Flashback from @trivolitavern. Everything here was (chef's kiss). The service was 5 star and highly vigilant of allergies and restrictions. The food was out of this world. The lobster Mac and cheese, thick cut bacon, gorgonzola creamed spinach, and the lamb chops are only a sliver of the memorable dishes. And to top it off, the ambiance. The cozy dimly lit look and feel was straight out of the 1920's. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A tradition that started in 17th century England made its way to the American South in 1817. Cotillions became a rite-of- passage for young women introducing them to society. I know, in 2023 this may seem outdated however, this allowed young women – especially young black women – in the segregated south an opportunity to engage in higher education, community service, and professional networking opportunities.
